Researching, engaging and developing specific workforce development strategies to strengthen the skill sets and occupations in the Manitoba Non-profit Sector to meet its current and future labour market needs.

Folder Non-profit Labour Market Information Initiative
A collaboration between MFNPO and the lead department of Manitoba Competitive Training and Trade, including other departments such as Health, Family Services and Housing.
Folder Supervisory & Executive Management Skills Training
A program applying the "Building Better Workplaces" supervisory and leadership curriculum promoted by the Alliance of Manitoba Sector Councils to current employees of the Non-profit Sector organizations to encourage and enable the Sector to 'grow its own talent'. (See the pilot program detailed elsewhere in the MFNPO Initiatives Section under the title of Occupational Skills Training Initiative)
