MFNPO Opens New 'Dialogue' Site

This is a network for those interested in strengthening and sustaining organizations, their employees and their services within community. We are planning future face to face meetings and webinars. However, this is an important "community commons" for all of us to connect and to provide a space for our voices to be heard and recognized.

What is the difference between this network site and the website for MFNPO?

The MFNPO's website is the repository of materials, events, links and content to help those interested in strengthening their organizational and employee capacities to meet their mission.

The new 'social media' site is for those individuals who work or have an interest in the sector's success . We hope that you will take this opportunity to use this technology to speak, and get to know each other and share common challenges and ideas to move our collective future forward.

I have spoken to some of you who have asked about our expectations. Well, it is simple. Become a member (it's free), read the sections that interest you, respond to the forum or discussions, post your own, build content on your "MY PAGE", and engage where you wish.

We will post information, events, and acitivities for you to review and act on as you wish. There will be notices of events and polls taken every so often. We would like you to help us identify what you wish for all of us to see, read, in true development as a PEER learning and collaborative site.

You can lead and develop a group, post discussions and lead them in the forum. Use the groups to tell us what is happening in your sub-sector or region of the province. Don't wait for us to do this for you!

That's your task and responsibility within this site. Lurking is ok for awhile, but becoming more animated and providing ideas, content here would be expected.
